Welcome to the Camptel Poconos FAQ page! Whether you’re planning your first glamping adventure or returning for another unforgettable stay, we’re here to help make your experience seamless. Below you’ll find answers to our most common questions about accommodations, amenities, booking policies, and everything in between. From what’s included in your unit to how to modify a reservation, we’ve got you covered — so you can focus on relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the beauty of the Poconos.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Early check-in (2:00 PM) and late check-out (12:00 PM) are available for an additional fee of $35.00 each. In-person check-in is not available after 6:00 PM. If arriving after 6:00 PM, please contact the property in advance for after-hours check-in instructions.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in (2:00 PM) and late check-out (12:00 PM) are available for an additional fee of $35.00 each.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please contact us as soon as possible for cancellations. Reservations are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to the reservation date. Reservations are 50% refundable up to 7 days prior to the check-in date. Reservations are non-refundable within 6 days of your check-in date.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, we welcome both house-trained dogs and cats in select units. To ensure a comfortable environment for all residents, pets must weigh no more than 35 pounds and be leashed when outside. We allow up to two pets per unit. Additionally, a $35 pet fee will be added per pet, per day. We look forward to accommodating you and your furry companion!
Do you accept same-day or one-night reservations?
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights required to book. We normally do not allow same day reservations. However, they can be taken on a case by case basis depending on availability. Please give us a call, we look forward to assisting you!
Do you have any handicap accessible units?
Yes, Earl is our handicap accessible unit. Earl features ramp access, a roll in shower with chair, low counters and sinks. There are grab bars throughout the spacious large bathroom and every detail throughout the cabin is thoughtfully planned with our disabled guest’s comfort and safety in mind.
Do all units include plumbing facilities such as showers, bathrooms, and kitchens?
Yes, all units are equipped with plumbing amenities, including showers, bathrooms, and kitchen sinks. Even our smaller units offer these essential features, though in a more compact design.
Can we bring tents, trailers or a camper?
Our “Glampground” is exclusively designed to accommodate our Tiny Homes, and we are unable to accept any additional structures or modifications to the current accommodations. Tents, campers and trailers are prohibited at Camptel. We appreciate your understanding.
What amenities do you offer?
Currently we offer the following amenities to our Luxury Campers; a Gym, (2) Zen Saunas, (1) a Sweat Sauna, (2) Hot Tubs, an Oversized Dart Room, and Lawn Games. We are always on the lookout for entertainment ideas for both our adult and young guests.
What necessities/extras, if any, are supplied by Camptel for their guests?
Here at Camptel, comfort and convenience is our goal. Each cabin comes equipped with fresh linens, pillows and blankets, towels, toilet paper, paper cups, plastic cutlery and complimentary tea/coffee. Propane for your private fire pit is available for purchase at the camp for $35.
What private outdoor amenities come standard with each cabin?
Our Cabins feature a private yard equipped with a charcoal grill, fire pit and picnic area with table and bench. Each unit yard is private, except for our studio units which will share the yard amenities with its neighboring guests.
Are the units climate controlled?
Yes! All our cabins come equipped with individually controlled heat/ac units allowing our guests to relax in comfort during their stay.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes! Complimentary wifi is included in every unit, so you can catch up on some work or your favorite show while away.
